We are looking for a capable gardener, to join our talented team and help with the care and maintenance of some of Auckland’s best gardens.

Where no two days are the same, the work of a professional gardener is physically demanding and not for the faint-hearted, but enjoying being outdoors year-round is what ‘working with nature’ is all about.

Experienced Landscape Architect

Impress us with your talent and passion for designing inspiring landscapes.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Landscape Architect to join our developing design team.

If you are seeking part-time work, on a contractual basis, we can offer flexibility around office hours / days. 

With experience in all aspects of residential garden design, you will be capable of independently managing a design project. Experience working with Auckland council processes will give you an advantage to hit the ground running.

Junior Landscape Estimator

We are seeking a capable, hard-working, versatile and organised person to fill our Junior Estimator role. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best practitioners in the industry and learn the costing and management aspects of the landscape industry. Significant career progression prospects exist for the right person.

This role entails working alongside, and assisting, our talented and highly experienced landscape construction managers to cost and deliver landscape projects.

Essential skills:

Passion to learn:
Have a keen desire to learn and an interest in a career in the landscape construction industry

Sense of humour:
A good-natured temperament where you are able to communicate effectively and collaborate successfully with our diverse team

Nimble:
Be able to successfully schedule and manage resources in a dynamic and fluid work environment

Understanding of quantity surveying:
Understand and interpret landscape plans. An ability to accurately ‘take-off’ quantities and cost works

Digitally savvy:
Comfortable working with various digital platforms – Excel, Word. etc

Preferred skills (but not essential):

Previous Experience
An understanding of the construction and/or landscape construction process

Qualifications
A relevant qualification in the landscape industry, in quantity surveying or
construction management
