We are seeking an experienced gardener to join our highly-skilled and dedicated professional Garden Care team. This is a permanent position where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of our beautiful gardens.

We are open to suitable candidates working part-time (minimum of 3 days per week), full-time, or maybe part-time moving into full-time! We are willing to be flexible for people with star qualities wanting to join our Garden Care team.

For the right individual, with proven experience in all aspects of landscape garden maintenance, we can offer you a promising career path, rewarding work and a fun team environment.

In return, we ask that you are:

  • Passionate about gardens and working outdoors;
  • A skilled amenity horticulturalist, with relevant experience;
  • Fit and able to cope with physically demanding tasks, such as hedge trimming;
  • Committed to excellence, with an eye for detail and an affinity for garden design;
  • An effective team player;
  • Organised and an effective communicator;
  • Holding a clean driver’s licence (restricted or full is fine by us!).

It’s not a deal-breaker for us, but irrigation experience would be a strong advantage.

Applicants for this position must be a NZ citizen, resident or hold a valid NZ work visa.

If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for the successful applicants to start as soon as possible and will be reviewing applications as they come in, so don’t delay.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Skilled Landscaper to join our experienced and talented Construction Division. Roles in this division do not come up often, so we are excited to bring this vacancy to the market. Our landscape construction team undertakes a wide range of outdoor construction projects, often working closely and collaborating with architects, garden designers and engineers. Projects are often prototypes that require attention to detail, creativity and an ability for problem solving “on the fly.” They range in size and complexity from small and highly detailed through to large scale projects implemented from conceptual designs.

The successful candidate will:
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in the construction or landscaping industry;
• Be result-oriented and able to solve problems, all in a day’s work;
• Have an eye for detail and be committed to quality outcomes;
• Be able to interpret conceptual drawings and convert these into reality;
• Be an effective communicator and organiser;
• Be a team-player, hard-working, honest, and reliable.

While it is not a deal-breaker for us, it would be great if you also:
• Have a current, full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence (and can drive a manual vehicle);
• Have experience and take pride in producing highly detailed timber work;
• Are interested in mentoring and training our less experienced Construction team members.

We typically work Monday-Friday from 7.30am – 4pm, with a bit of flexibility based on the client’s site availability.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

If this all sounds like a bit of you, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for the successful applicant to start soon and will be reviewing applications as they come in, so don’t delay.
