Current Positions

Team Leader - Garden Care
(Permanent - Full-time)

We are seeking a Team Leader or an Experienced Gardener to join our highly-skilled and dedicated professional Garden Care team. This role would suit someone who is already a Team Leader, or alternatively a capable Gardener with interest/experience in people leadership, ready to take the next step in their Horticulture career. You will run a small team of 1-2 gardeners and be required to run an organised garden care route with regular and on-demand clients, usually working with a 2IC, and others as required. You will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of some of Auckland’s best gardens and to assist in planting jobs as required.

This is a full-time, permanent position, where no two days will be the same. For the right individual, with proven experience in all aspects of landscape garden maintenance, we can offer you a promising career path, rewarding work, a fun team environment, an excellent hourly rate and did we mention five (yes 5!) weeks of Annual Leave?

In return, we ask that you are:

Skilled and experienced in all aspects of landscape garden maintenance with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role;
Already working as a Team Leader, or as a Landscape Gardener ready to take the next step in their gardening career into a leadership role;
Committed to excellence, with an eye for detail and an affinity for garden design;
Already working as a Team Leader or as a Landscape Gardener, ready and able to take the next step into a leadership role;
Able to lead, train and inspire others;
Passionate about gardens and working outdoors;
Fit, healthy and enjoy physical work;
A successful team player;
Organised and an effective communicator;
Holding a clean driver’s licence.

It’s not a deal-breaker for us, but irrigation experience would be a strong advantage. Applicants for this position must be a NZ citizen, resident or hold a valid NZ work visa.

Experienced Gardener - Garden Care
(Permanent - Full-time)

You will work alongside a Team Leader while looking after a portfolio of our clients’ gardens. Carrying out tasks such as tree and shrub pruning, hedge-trimming, weed control and lawn mowing, as well as working flexibly to assist other teams when needed. We want you to be an expert in all things garden maintenance.

This role will suit someone who is a skilled landscape gardener, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.

For the right individuals, with proven experience in all aspects of landscape garden maintenance, we can offer you a promising career path, rewarding work, a fun team environment, an excellent hourly rate and did we mention five (yes 5!) weeks of Annual Leave?

A skilled amenity horticulturalist, with relevant experience;
Fit, healthy and enjoy physical work;
Committed to excellence, with an eye for detail and an affinity for garden design;
