Gavin speicliases in transforming landscapes ranging from small backyard gardens to significant large-scale properties into places of beauty and reflection. Although he has now put down his tools to move into an office-based role, he has lost none of the enjoyment of contributing to the creation of beautiful landscapes and working with a fantastic team of talented and passionate individuals at Second Nature.

Eugene has worked continuously in the landscape industry since leaving school. He is passionate about the great outdoors and has travelled extensively, including a period of working in the industry in London. He has worked with Second Nature since 1998, during which time he has progressed from constructing individual gardens to managing multiple projects. He loves a challenge and always strives to deliver a quality product.
THE BUILD PROCESS
PLANNING & CONCEPT
Your BUILD journey with Second Nature usually commences after collaboration with either our in-house DESIGN team or an independent designer, who will have created a Garden Concept for you. This provides the information we require to provide pricing.
PRICING
Our estimators first provide a Provisional Estimate for the construction of your garden and will work with you and your designer or architect to reach an agreeable compromise on details and budget before preparing either a more detailed Estimate or a Fixed Price Quote.
CONTRACT
If accepted, a contract is provided and our expert BUILD team, which includes qualified tradesmen and landscapers, gets to work on transforming your garden.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Every Second Nature project is matched to a Team Leader with appropriate experience and expertise. This person is responsible for the day-to-day running of your job on-site and for liaison with you and other parties involved. At each stage of the process you’ll be kept informed and clear about the status of the scope of work in relation to your budget.
CONSTRUCTION
Our experienced and talented team will ensure that your project is completed to the high standards for which we are known. Throughout construction, be it a few weeks, months or a more ambitious and lengthier project, our ability to collaborate with your designer or architect will ensure that the integrity of the design remains intact, whilst we respond to individual site conditions and opportunities.
PLANTING
To complete your garden, horticulturalists and planting experts from our GROW team can assist with the soft landscaping aspects of your project, including the supply and installation of the plants your designer has specified. They also provide one-off or ongoing Garden Care to keep you garden looking outstanding.
